Registration for the IPI-CILS conference, The War on Words ’Terrorism, Media and the Law, to be held in Vienna, Austria, on 5-6 October, is open until Friday, 2 October. Students pay a participation fee of just EUR 10,00 instead of EUR 100,00.

Organized by the International Press Institute (IPI) and the Salzburg-based Center for International Legal Studies (CILS), the two-day conference will bring together prominent figures from the fields of media, law and human rights, as well as security and counter-terrorism experts, to discuss the impact of the fight against terrorism on freedom of expression and press freedom.
